My Yang Kue, 77, of Providence, RI passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. My was born on March 4, 1941 in Laos. My was married to the late Xao Long Kue and daughter to the late Cha Yia Yang & Blia Xiong. She is survived by 5 sons, 2 daughters, 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Son Cher Pao Kue & wife Ka Y. Kue of Johnston, RI; daughter Shoua Kue & husband Cher Yia Yang of Warwick, RI; son Fu Peter Kue & wife Mai C. Kue of Cranston, RI; daughter Phoua “Charlene” Kue & fiancé Craig Carr of Nashua, NH; son Alien Kue & wife Chantry Nhar-Kue of Cranston, RI; son Chue Kue & wife Der Kue of Johnston, RI; and son Tou Vang Kue & wife Rith N. Kue of Coventry, RI. Brother Nao Sao Yang of Laos and sisters Shoua Yang of Sacramento, CA, Kao Yang and Chia Yang both of St Paul, MN.

My was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who regarded life through her commitment to her family. She was known for her contributions towards tradition in the Hmong community, and was also an avid gardener who contributed in the Providence gardens. She is remembered as a promoter of friendship who provided fresh fruits & vegetables.

The Kue family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to the Wards Berry Farm family of Sharon, MA, and friends & extended family for their thoughts and prayers.

Services will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865 on Saturday, December 22nd from 11am to 9pm; Sunday, December 23rd from 10am through Monday, December 24th at 9am. Funeral procession to follow immediately to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, 02915.
